- Understanding Model Railroad Maintenance — This link was sent to me by Kayla Wilson of the The Children's Cancer Center of Newark, New Jersey, at the suggestion of Thomas, the student that presented it to her. They've been reviewing some resources on the Internet for a project about trains and model trains and came across the X2011 "Links" page and found it extremely helpful to them and sent me this link for an addition to the page as a "Thank you!" Having lived in neighboring Hillside in my earlier years, how could I not do it. You're very welcome, Kayla, Thomas and all the other kids. Have a piece of cake for me! Dave Grenier, Webmaster

They've been reviewing some resources on the Internet for a project about models (mostly cars) and came across the X2011 "Links" page and found it extremely helpful to them and sent me this link for an addition to the page as a "Thank you!" - NEW 3/14/15! Protecting your Model Cars - Trains - and Planes — And yet another link was sent to me by Kayla Russell of the The Children's Cancer Center of Newark, New Jersey, at the suggestion of her newest class of model builders. They found an article that they hope visitors to this page will really enjoy. There are some good tips on caring for and moving your models. I especially liked the tip about making sure nothing is on the floor that could cause you to trip and fall while carrying your prize model. As a youngster, I remember taking the bus from Hillside to go shopping with my mother in Newark before we moved to California in 1956. You're very welcome, Kayla, and all the other kids in her class. My vote is for pizza! Yum! Dave Grenier, Webmaster
