Getting to Sacramento

• Take Amtrak to the Sacramento Station, adjacent to Old Sacramento, then a short light rail or taxi ride, or even a leisurely 15 to 20 minute walk, to the convention hotel. Four trains serve Sacramento:
  • California Zephyr from Chicago, IL
  • Capital Corridor from San Jose, CA
  • Coast Starlight from Seattle, WA and Los Angeles, CA
  • San Joaquin from Oakland, CA and Bakersfield, CA
• Fly into Sacramento International Airport, then take a shuttle, limo or taxi to the convention hotel (12 mi). Other regional airports to consider are:
  • San Francisco International Airport - Driving time: 1:45 (98 mi)
  • Mineta San Jose International Airport - Driving time: 2:05 (117 mi)
  • Oakland International Airport - Driving time: 1:40 (91 mi)
  • Reno-Tahoe International Airport - Driving time: 2:15 (136 mi)
  
• Driving In:
  • FROM THE EAST: Take I-80 West to California. Take EXIT #95/CAPITAL CITY FWY/SACRAMENTO (CA-99 S) toward I-80 BR W - go 4.4 mi. Take the DOWNTOWN SACRAMENTO exit onto CA-160 S - go 3.6 mi. Continue on 12th Street - go 0.3 mi. Turn left on J Street. Arrive 1230 J ST, on the Right.
  
  • FROM THE WEST: Take I-80 East. Continue on US-50 E toward SACRAMENTO/I-80-BR/SOUTH LAKE TAHOE - go 2.1 mi. Take the DOWNTOWN SACRAMENTO/JEFFERSON BLVD exit onto CA-275 N toward DOWNTOWN SACRAMENTO - go 1.9 mi. Turn Left on 5TH ST - go 0.2 mi. Turn Right on J ST - go 0.6 mi. Arrive at 1230 J ST on the Right.
  
  • FROM THE NORTH: Take I-5 South. Take the DOWNTOWN/J STREET exit - go 0.3 mi. Continue on J ST - go 0.7 mi. Arrive at 1230 J ST on the Right.
  
  • FROM THE SOUTH: Take I-5 North. Take the DOWNTOWN/J STREET exit - go 0.3 mi. Continue on J ST - go 0.7 mi. Arrive at 1230 J ST on the Right.
